How we select offers
A deal board is only useful if you can trust it without checking it. These are the rules we hold ourselves to.
We search
Every day we read the offer pages of the leading luxury hotel and resort groups and record what is live: the offer, the dates, the minimum stay and the terms. Offers that have expired or been withdrawn come off the board.
We check at the source
Each offer links to the hotel's own page or the booking provider's page. Where we cannot confirm a figure at the hotel's own page, or two sources disagree, we say so on the offer instead of presenting it as settled.
We evaluate
We look beyond the headline. A free night is worth a fixed share of a stay. A credit is worth its face value only if you would have spent it. We note what an offer excludes. Then we assign one of three editorial ratings. We do not use numerical scores.
How we write
Plain and specific. We state the actual figure, the actual date and the actual condition, and we use absolute dates, never countdowns. Where a headline overstates the real benefit, we say so.
You decide
We do not sit between you and the hotel. Rates, dates and terms change, so always confirm them on the provider's site before booking. See the affiliate disclosure for how the site is funded.
