Privacy policy
This page explains, in plain language, what information Wander Elite collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Messages you send us, through the contact form or the feedback prompt, including any email address you choose to give us so we can reply, and the page you sent them from.
- Usage data, through Google Analytics 4: the pages you view, the offers you click, your approximate location, and your device and browser. We use it to understand which offers and pages are useful.
Services we use
- Google Analytics 4 for usage measurement.
- Formspree processes form submissions (contact messages and feedback) and forwards them to us.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces, and Google's favicon service serves hotel logo marks. Your browser requests these from Google.
- Unsplash hosts the photography.
These providers receive your IP address and browser details when your browser requests their files, and each has its own privacy policy.
What is stored in your browser
Besides Google Analytics' own cookies, the site stores two small values in your browser's local storage: one that remembers you have dismissed the feedback prompt, and one that records that you have visited before, so we can tell new and returning visitors apart in aggregate.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers above, to run the site.
We do not run a mailing list and do not send marketing email. We use an address you give us only to reply to your message, and you can ask us to delete it through the contact form.
Third-party sites
Offer links take you to hotel and booking sites we do not control. Their privacy practices apply once you leave Wander Elite.
